Just did my second run through to keep Wrex around and finish some bidness with Tali. I was actually gonna pass on this game for a while, wtf. Tomorrow evening will kick ass.

I got it the other day from a very special online store but have decided not to play until I redo the first. Mostly for the story but supposedly there are benefits to your character if you transer your save with certain achievements done and certain levels, 60 being the max.

Yeah, that stuff carries over. I got all the story and achievements I wanted except for making it to lvl 60, but that was the least important to me.

I finished up at level 57 after 2 runs, so I'd need a 3rd run to get up to 60. It's only supposed to take 2 runs, but I missed some things the first time around. The XP requirements get pretty crazy as well. One of the levels in the early 50s is exactly half way to 60, lol.

Alright don't bother hitting 60 your level and items will not carry over from the first which you will understand why after you start the game. Just make sure when you play through you do any side quests that affect your team.

Who you save on virmire.
Wrex's armor quest.
Tali's Pilgrimage quest.
Convincing Garrus to go for spectre status.

and some other side quests with random people will factor in as well that were on the citadel.

I played a few hours last night and it's friggin awesome. I'm enjoying the darker story. I agree with the majority of the changes. It feels like the game has really opened up where it wanted to be in the first place. Gameplay tweaks are badass.

I know some people hated the Mako, but I expected an improved replacement. It feels like something got left out. I'm guessing they'll bring a revamped one back for 3 because I doubt I'm the only one that feels that way. That's the only negative thing I can think of and it's minor.

The new hacking and system bypass shit is soooooooooooooo much better than playing Simon with xbox face buttons.

Not loving the new crew just yet, but I'm just getting started. I like the new guy, but someone on another forum made a joke about him being Kanye, so I'm always expecting an interruption. The "Illusive Man" reminds me of X-Files' "Smoking Man." The voice acting kicks ass. Oh yeah, getting #6 from Battlestar Galactica was a perfect choice for EDI.

Lol Jacob looks more like Micheal Vick than Kanye. Theres actually going to be a DLC vehicle called the Hammer head. As far as the crew it gets better as you go on. What Class did you pick to start as?

I'm starting to like them better now, but I've preferred the familiar faces.

I continued down the Vanguard path. I like mixing the abilities with shotguns.

Yea I understand that my fav char has always been Tali. I choose adept this time to see more of the powers in play.

Sweet game from start to finish. I started up a second run, but I've gone back to Dragon Age since the expansion is right around the corner. Everything went perfect, so I don't need to undo anything this time.
